We visited Westonbirt Arboretum in the Cotswolds in the middle of the month. It was a little early for the full autumn colour effect that Westonbirt is famous for but I did get quite a few seasonal photos of early colouring Japanese Maples, and here is one of them. |

The coldest December since records began provided plenty of photo opportunities. This is the Populus "Serotina" in our back field. |

The Autumn colour continued to improve on some trees into November. Our Walnut trees, on the left rarely colour well but this year, they were almost a match for the hornbeam on the right. |
